Festival of Isis, second half of the 4th century. AE (Bronze, 13 mm, 1.17 g, 6 h), Rome. VOTA P-VBLICA Draped bust of Serapis to right, wearing modius. Rev. VOTA PVBLICA Nilus reclining left, leaning on urn from which water flows, holding galley in his right hand and reed in his left. Alföldi 125 and pl. III, 41 var. Bricault & Mondello (forthcoming), cat. no. uncertain. A very rare example with an attractive reverse showing a detailed model of a galley. Good fine.
